District 7930 Softball League-early May-Mid August (contact me ASAP if interested in being part of Andover Rotary's team.) This is a slow pitch league and all skill level, age and gender are welcome to play. Games will be held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 6pm (only one game per week).
World Peace and Understanding Dinner & Showcase-February 28. The Showcase will be from 3-5pm and the Dinner will be from 6-9pm at the Doubletree by Hilton in Danvers. This year's theme is the Opioid Crisis and the keynote speaker is Middlesex DA Marian Ryan.
Aisha Syed, world-class violinist from the Dominican Republic (non-Rotary)-March 10. This concert will be held at the Methuen Memorial Music Hall and Aisha will be accompanied by pianist Martin Labazevitch. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased by calling 978-478-7317 or emailing
MV Dream Center's Night of Dreams Gala 2018 (non-Rotary)-March 24 from 5-10pm. The event is located at 155 Haverhill Street, Lawrence and costs $30 per person. There will be dinner, a silent auction, and dancing among other things.
Ride for Rotary being held April 14-23 in India by Rotary District 3181. Below mentioned are the event highlights:
  • A ten day event commencing from Mysore (India) that can either be a motorcycle ride or a four wheel drive

  • The ride will cover 4 Rotary Districts, many Rotary Clubs along with temples, churches, Tiger Reserves , forests, Beaches and via some breath taking beautiful roads in the lap of nature.

  • The route map is Mysore-Shimoga-Dandeli-Goa-Mangalore-Madikeri-Mysore

  • Riders will be provided motorcycles/cars, fuel, mementos, stay , food, riding gear, mechanical support, medical support and indemnity cover for the event period.

  • Indian Heritage, Culture & Diversity

  • Cultural activities and fellowship will be part of the event.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast to support Ironstone Farms (non-Rotary) from April 20-22. Actors Inc of Chelmsford will be performing the musical and a portion of the proceeds will go to Ironstone. You can purchase tickets and/or be a sponsor. Contact Jim Greeley for more info. 
Rotary Leadership Institute-April 28 from 7:30am-3:30pm. This program is designed to facilitate learning, collaboration and idea exchange to improve our clubs. 
Rotary Summit at Mount Washington-May 4-6. At this weekend long event, there will be Rotarians from all over New England and Quebec. There will be keynote speakers including Ian Riseley, our President of Rotary International; roundtable breakouts, a service project and a great lineup of entertainment.
