Some examples of the Community Service's functions are when it:
  • Organizes community drop-off boxes for donations to local charitable organizations.

    Food gathered at one the many drives by Rotary
      - donated to local shelters and food kitchens
      
  • Partners with Holy Family Hospital's Sports for Life fundraiser for their Cancer Treatment Center.

  • Celebrates a luncheon at the Wingate Nursing Home for Rotarian and resident fellowship.
      
  • Often gives College Scholarships to deserving Andover youth.
      
  • Has given scholarships to deserving adults who are trying to improve themselves at night school
     
  • Organized a "Cut-a-Thon" in Andover for the youth of the community.

  • Sponsors local high-school juniors in a dynamic weekend at RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards).

    RYLA brings in dynamic leadership role models from the
    community, with workshops to foster leadership in our
    community's youth.
      
  • Members are December bell ringers for the Salvation Army in front of Andover's old town hall.
