Do you know an unsung Andover hero? Someone who volunteers and serves their community? You can nominate that person - or group of people - to receive the Rotary Club of Andover's annual Citizens Who Care award
Any individual, nonprofit organization, business, or group can nominate their favorite Citizen(s) Who Care. The Club receives about 50 nominations from which the honorees are selected. Those chosen exemplify what it means to be an "unsung hero." They come in all ages and professions.
Citizens Who Care & Educator of the Year is Andover's longest running program that honors outstanding community volunteers. Since 1996, the Rotary Club of Andover has honored people each year who have contributed to the local community through their extraordinary volunteer contributions. Those chosen exemplify what it means to be an "unsung hero."
The Club is reaching out to the Andover community for nominations for these prestigious awards. Each year ten Citizens Who Care awards are given. One space is reserved for a student in an Andover public school. The deadline for nominations is January 15, 2024.
