0th birthday in true epic style. Hosted by Andover Celebrates America 250
in partnership with the Andover Center for History and Culture\, the festi
vities kick off at 11 AM in the Park and run throughout the day\, with som
ething for every generation.\n\nLooking for 4 volunteers 8:00-10:00 to hel
p set up tents\, tables and chairs for this great event.\n(Experts at sett
ing up tents that volunteered to help set up the 250 tents at Andover Days

Fair\n\nStep into the 1700s with hands-on demos from master craftspeople:
blacksmithing\, gunsmithing\, broom making\, lacemaking\, leatherworking\,
printing\, flax processing\, medicinal herbalism\, and more. Don&rsquo\;t
miss the colonial fencing demonstration\, swords included.\n\nThe Cowasuc
k Band of the Penacook/Abenaki\nA rare and special appearance featuring an
authentic museum-style display of artifacts\, traditional toys\, and furs
.\n\nPrescott&rsquo\;s Battalion in Concert\nThe sounds of the Revolution
come alive with 17th- and 18th-century music that would&rsquo\;ve been pla
ying when the country was born.\n\nMeet the Armies\nMeet historically accu
rate Continental and British Army reenactors (Danvers Alarm List Company a
nd His Majesty&rsquo\;s Royal Artillery\, 7th Company\, 3rd Battalion 1777
) and learn what life on the march was really like.\n\nAbbot Tavern\, Reim
agined\nThe beloved old Elm Street tavern rises again\, right in the Park.
Grab a craft beer or glass of wine\, snack\, test your history knowledge
at trivia\, hear a talk on Revolutionary-era cocktails\, and more.\n\nWalk
Through History\nTake a guided stroll down Chestnut Street to the Rose Co
ttage\, South Church\, and Bicentennial Park.\n\nFun for the Whole Family\
nLive music\, food trucks\, bounce houses\, a balloon artist\, face painti
ng\, lawn games\, and plenty more to keep every age entertained.\n\nAnd th
e celebration doesn&rsquo\;t stop at the Park&mdash\;Main Street merchants
are joining in\, so the party spills right into downtown Andover. \n\nTh
e festivities will continue into the evening in The Park and the surroundi
ng Municipal Xomplex. More surprises are on the way: check back at andove
