Introducing: The Pink Cloud Connect

May 05, 2023

"The Pink Cloud Connect is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization on a mission to aid in relapse

prevention while igniting social change and promoting wellness within the community."

The Pink Cloud Connect is igniting social change by educating the public about mental health, addiction, recovery, and the resources available to those in need. We aim to connect our peers to the vast variety of help readily available while breaking stigmas in real time within the community.

PCC’s mission to aid in relapse prevention is fueled by the unfortunate reality that 85% of those who leave addiction treatment will relapse within one year*. That means only 15% of people who finally accept addiction treatment will make it past their first year of recovery. Our efforts are driven by our passion to help those in recovery, stay in recovery while showing the community ways to feel better without self medicating. Our goal is to change the individual’s desire to escape reality.

Senator Barry Finegold

Legislative Update

Jun 16, 2023

Senator Barry Finegold was elected in 2018 to represent the Second Essex and Middlesex District which then included Andover, Dracut, Lawrence, and Tewksbury, a seat he previously held from 2010 to 2015. He currently serves as the Chair of the Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies.

As a result of the 2020 census, the Second Essex and Middlesex District now encompasses all of Andover, Tewksbury, Wilmington, Merrimac and Amesbury, as well as large swathes of Haverhill (wards 1–7) and North Andover (precincts 1-6).

Barry Finegold was raised in Andover and Tewksbury and attended public school in both towns. He played football at Andover High School and went on to play for Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania. He graduated from F&M with a major in government and a business concentration.

Once he returned to Andover, Barry ran for the Board of Selectmen, taking on longtime incumbents to win and become the youngest Selectman in the town’s history at age 24. A year later, he won election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives representing the 17th Essex District consisting of parts of Andover, Tewksbury and Lawrence. He was the youngest member of his freshman class of legislators.

Working during the day and going to class at night, Barry put himself through Massachusetts School of Law in Andover and was admitted to the Massachusetts bar the same year he graduated. At age 29, he founded the law firm of Dalton & Finegold in Andover. He continues to work as a partner at the firm, which specializes in real estate, estate planning and corporate law. Barry’s law practice is not his only connection to small business— his wife Amy was a longtime small business owner in Andover, owning and operating Dresscode for 13 years from 2004 - 2017.

When he is not running his business or legislating, you can find Barry coaching youth sports in Andover where he coaches both hockey and football.

Barry lives in Andover with his wife, Amy, three children, Ava, Ella and Max, and the newest member of the Finegold family, Otis the bulldog."
