Partnering to Overcome Climate Change Challenges

Anodver Climate Summit 2022 - Abstract: Climate change impacts are felt by everyone who live, work and visit Andover. The pace of change is accelerating and increasing in intensity. Homes and businesses spend ever more to cool during the hotter summers while property owners increasingly deal with heavy precipitation and flooding damages. Greenhouse gas mitigation is needed to slow the release of these pollutants like carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide into the atmosphere; adaption is needed to preserve human lives and livelihoods. Come hear about where Andover stands in terms of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, how we are planning to address resilience, and how we propose to partner with you to help businesses thrive.
