President Ken Feyl Kicks Off a New Rotary Year

The Rotary Club of Andover officially launched a new Rotary year last Friday, July 10, as President Ken Feyl led his first meeting at The Event Space in Andover.

Ken welcomed members with enthusiasm, humor, and a clear vision for the year ahead—one centered on service, fellowship, and continued growth. His leadership marks the beginning of another exciting chapter for our club as we build on our tradition of making a positive impact both locally and around the world.

With an outstanding lineup of service projects, community events, and opportunities to connect, the year ahead promises to be an exciting one. We look forward to working together under Ken's leadership as we continue to live Rotary's motto of Service Above Self and Andover Rotary's other motto Where Doing Good Is Serious Fun!

Congratulations, Ken, on a great first meeting—we're looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!

Ukraine Endoscopy Mission Update – June 2026

Dr. Yaroslav Radega recently shared another encouraging update on the impact of the endoscopy equipment provided through Rotary grant funding, supported by the Rotary Club of Andover and Rotary District 7930.

During June, the donated endoscopy system was used daily to perform 101 minimally invasive therapeutic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy. These procedures helped treat gastrointestinal bleeding, remove tumors and foreign bodies, place stents, and provide other lifesaving interventions.

The equipment has significantly improved patient care by reducing the need for open surgery, shortening hospital stays, lowering the risk of complications, and providing timely treatment for emergency conditions. In addition to patient care, the equipment also served as a training platform for two physicians, helping expand access to advanced endoscopic care for the future.

The impact of Rotary's support continues to grow, improving healthcare and saving lives every day in Ukraine. Thank you to everyone whose generosity has made this project possible.
