I recently started journaling again around the theme of gratitude, especially as we enter this season of gratitude. I am thankful and grateful for many things in my life, but a major one is our family of Rotary. When called to action we serve, when called to show up and be present we do and most of all when called to send positive vibes and good thoughts to members and our extended Rotary family, we do.
I am happy to share some wonderful news as of Tuesday morning! Paul S., Mark and Peter have been in contact with David’s family, and he is home as of today. I am so happy to hear this and know that you are as well. We may start a meal train down the road but not at this time. Please continue to keep David Lindsay and Alex Kiesel in your thoughts, prayers, and good vibes.

Congratulations to Charitable Trust Committee Co-Chair Yaroslava Cassell for
I feel the need to remind all members of my previous communication regarding Rotary and our non-political and peacemaker philosophy.
We are in very volatile times right now as a country and Rotary is an organization, locally and internationally that is non-political and non-violent. We as Rotarians should be peacemakers and should discuss differences in person and engage in positive, problem-solving discussions together as a community of people.
There continues to be comments made during the meeting, that are “political” and potentially controversial. I implore you all to think before speaking and consider the guiding principles of Rotary’s 4 Way test.
Thank you for your commitment to Rotary and the ties that bind us.
