While most might expect games like pinning the donkey at a Bourbon After Five (B>5), last Friday’s B>5 at the Timm/Roop residence was a special occasion. Bob Skurka, a valued neighbor and friend of the Timm/Roop family, was recognized for his outstanding contributions to our Club.
Bob has played a key role in securing silent auction donations for our Citizens Who Care Gala Fundraiser over the past two years. As a small token of our gratitude, he was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow on May 6. Unfortunately, due to illness, Bob couldn’t accept the award in person at the time.
We’re thrilled to now celebrate Bob, who truly deserves this prestigious recognition for his dedication and support!
Congratulations, Bob!

Congratulations To Our
2025 Scholarship Recipients
At our weekly breakfast meeting last Friday, we proudly presented Rotary Club of Andover scholarships to two of our three outstanding recipients, Calvin Paul and Gavin Cleary. Both students delivered eloquent remarks, sharing their future aspirations and expressing heartfelt gratitude to the club for this honor. Our third recipient, Shriya Bala, is currently out of state but will join us to celebrate at a future meeting.
These exceptional students have demonstrated remarkable achievement and dedication, and we are thrilled to support their bright futures.
Gratitude to Scholarship Co-Chairs Peter Caruso and Paul Mercandetti for their countless hours dedicated to choosing these exceptional recipients!
