That was a quick two-week absence from Rotary. Hope you enjoyed your holidays and rang in a great 2026!
We are back this week at the Robb Center, as the Lanam Club is still closed for their holiday break! Look forward to seeing you this Friday, January 9th at 7:30 AM. Our special, sweet guest Nigel, and his humans, Kevin, and Ellen Keller will tell us about the power of therapy dogs! I for one cannot wait to see Nigel…oh and Kevin and Ellen too!
Please mark these two important events on your calendars and join me and other Andover Rotarians:
Thurs., Feb. 12th, 5:30 PM Spinelli’s Function Facility, Lynnfield
Cost: $75 per person (includes dinner)
Let’s make this a great Rotary week! Cheers!

Skinny Crew The
Day After Christmas
Even with a skinny volunteer crew on Dec. 26th at the Lazarus House Ministries Good Shepherd Kitchen, we showed up and made it count!
Helped serve lunch, spread some holiday cheer, and got to meet the kindest people — shoutout to Andy and his awesome son Richard, who brought big smiles and great energy to the team.
Proof that it doesn’t take a big group to make a difference — just a few willing hearts. Grateful for days like this that remind us why we keep coming back.

What a wonderful
Holiday Party
Grateful for the joyful fellowship and amazing spirit of our members, families, and guests—you make this club so special.
Heartfelt thanks to Mary Ann Millar for generously hosting in her beautiful home and to everyone who shared their fantastic specialties and desserts (those treats were incredible!).
Here’s to the season of giving and celebrating together. Happy new year, Rotarians!

Do you know what this Friday is?
FUN SOCK FRIDAY
This Friday is your chance to ditch the boring socks and unleash your wildest, wackiest, most colorful pairs! Whether they’re polka-dotted, animal-printed, glow-in-the-dark, or just plain ridiculous, let your feet do the talking and bring some extra smiles to our meeting.
See you on Friday with your best (or worst!) socks on display! 🧦
The Great Kettle Showdown of 2025 ...so, did we regain our title?
On Tuesday, December 23, our Andover Rotary crew hit Main Street with bells blazing to support the Lawrence Salvation Army. We rang, we smiled, we collected—and we’re still holding our breath on the final count!
For years, we proudly held the title of top single-day non-profit organization fundraiser for the Lawrence Salvation Army... until last year, when Free Christian Church swooped in like holiday ninjas and stole our crown. (We’re not bitter... much.)
This year, we’re hoping to reclaim our throne—but win or (temporarily) lose, it’s a total victory because every dollar helps families in need. The real MVPs? Our amazing members, families, and passersby who made the magic happen!
Stay tuned for the official results... fingers crossed, bells still ringing in our hearts. 🔔
Thanks for another fantastic effort, Rotarians—Service Above Self
(and maybe above Free Christian Church... we’ll see)!

A Night of Strikes, Smiles, and Support at Wamesit Lanes
On Friday, December 19, a wonderful group of Andover Rotarians, family members, and friends gathered at Wamesit Lanes in Tewksbury for a special evening of bowling and fellowship.
This outing was a perfect way to give Elaine a well-deserved break while letting Luke enjoy some carefree fun, laughter, and friendly competition on the lanes.
A huge thank you to everyone who showed up, brought their enthusiasm, and made the night so memorable—your presence truly embodied Rotary's spirit of Service Above Self and community support. Whether you were cheering on high scores, sharing stories, or just enjoying the company, you helped create a joyful evening that lifted spirits all around.
Special gratitude to Elaine for allowing us to rally around her and Luke—we're grateful to be part of this caring club family.
Moments like these remind us why Rotary matters: coming together to make a real difference, one pin (or strike!) at a time. 🎳
Know someone whose quiet contributions deserve recognition? Nominate them today!
Your nomination could shine a spotlight on the everyday difference-makers who embody the true spirit of volunteerism. Let's honor them at our May 14, 2026, Gala!
