As I write this Anthem, it is snowing out! I guess winter is not done with us. Putting my eternal optimist hat on, I know we will be enjoying warmer weather soon.
My one message today is to ask members to support our largest fundraiser, Citizens Who Care on Thursday, May 14th. President Elect Ken is doing a great job planning the event but we need "all hands on deck!"
Please consider a sponsorship, an ad in the program book, and attend and volunteer at the event! We are 5 weeks away and deadlines are approaching so please act today! Thank you.
At our Rotary Club meeting this past Friday, the usual champions of Fun Sock Friday — our adorable Elizabeth and her mom Yaroslava — were dethroned by a surprise contender!
Gail (with her legendary bunny socks, complete with an actual fuzzy bunny hanging off the ankle) stole the show and took home the win!
Sorry Elizabeth… the bunny hopped in and hopped away with the victory this time!
Who else is ready for the next Friday sock battle? ______________________________________
