I have been seeing this quote on different Rotary social media channels lately and I think it is so true for our club!

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

Once again, our Rotary team stepped up to the plate to volunteer at the Andover Center for History & Culture Car Show this past Sunday. Thanks to our Public Image Chair Diana you can find pictures on our social media channels, Facebook & Instagram. Congratulations to Elaine and her team for a wonderful event!

Speaking of opportunities to volunteer…Club Service Chair Al Ruthazer has been busy populating our website with volunteer opportunities! Check it out and sign up today.

Finally, all members are invited to attend the board meeting, which is tomorrow, July 15 at 4:30 PM at the Andover/North Andover YMCA.

Cake for Breakfast?

This year, our Club hit the big
3-0, and we celebrated last Friday like the true champions of community service we are—with cake for breakfast! Because nothing says "three decades of doing good" like frosting at 7:30 a.m.

Our members gathered to toast (with coffee, not champagne—let’s not get too wild) to 30 years of driving positive change in Andover.

From community projects to classic car shows, we’ve been the spark plugs keeping this town humming. Here’s to more years of service, laughs, and maybe a few more sugary breakfasts—because who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too?

Rotary Moments That Warm the Heart

Photo 1: Jean Leider Honored as 24/25 Cal Mutti Rotarian of the Year
Our very own Jean Leider was beaming brighter than a classic car’s chrome at last Fridays meeting, where she received the prestigious 24/25 Cal Mutti Rotarian of the Year Award. Her tireless dedication to our community’s projects and her infectious enthusiasm make her the perfect choice for this honor. Congrats, Jean—you’re driving Rotary excellence!

Photo 2: President Ann's Musical Surprise
President Ann, our resident songbird, was over the moon when member Gail Ralston gifted her a book of songs. “This is like Christmas!” Ann exclaimed, her face lighting up like a holiday tree. It’s clear Ann’s ready to lead with a song in her heart—and maybe a few show tunes at our next meeting!

Photo 3: An Embrace of Gratitude
In a moment that had everyone saying “aww,” President Ann planted a big kiss on Gail Ralston’s cheek to thank her for the songbook. This sweet gesture captures the spirit of our Rotary family—full of appreciation, joy, and just the right amount of pizzazz. Here’s to more moments that make us smile!
