I wanted to publicly thank so many that made my "35th" Birthday a special one. Under the leadership and hijinxs of my "RH" (Rotary Husband Don) I was genuinely surprised with my Austin Power serenade, cake, gifts and balloons. You all know how to make a girl feel special!
Thank you.

As we begin the

Training Today to Save Lives Tomorrow

This past Saturday, a group of Andover Rotarians and friends gathered at the Andover/North Andover YMCA for a hands-on CPR, AED, and First Aid certification training—and it was both meaningful and memorable.

We organized this session in honor of Andover Rotarian David Lindsay, who bravely survived two life-threatening cardiac arrests. His experience served as a powerful reminder of just how critical it is for more people in our community to be trained and confident in emergency response.

Throughout the training, members practiced chest compressions, rescue breaths, AED use, and the FAST assessment and secondary survey techniques using our training manikins (affectionately known as “Annie”). Everyone participated fully and embraced the opportunity to build skills that truly save lives. By the end of the session, Annie may have earned a few fans in the room. 😍

Being prepared to respond in a medical emergency is one of the most valuable skills any of us can have. We are deeply grateful to our instructors for their expertise, patience, and excellent guidance throughout the day.

If you are interested in becoming CPR certified or learning more about how Rotary is serving Andover and surrounding communities, we welcome you to reach out—we would love to have you join us.

Rotarians and Family Come Together in Service to Local Families

Grateful for another day of hands-on service!

Last Thursday, Andover Rotarians Paul Salafia—joined by his twin grandsons Gus and Max—worked alongside fellow Rotarians Meredith Mondejar and Mark Spencer at Lazarus House Ministries to help unload and prepare food for distribution.

Together, they supported a food pantry that serves hundreds of families each week, putting Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self into action in a very real and meaningful way.

It’s a simple and fun way to support our club’s fundraising efforts.
