Passing the Gavel: Celebrating a Year of Service and New Beginnings
The Rotary Club of Andover concluded its 2025–2026 Rotary year with a memorable Changeover Meeting this past Friday, celebrating the many accomplishments of the past year while welcoming new leadership for the year ahead.
Outgoing President Ann Ormond reflected on a year filled with service, fellowship, and growth, thanking members for their dedication and support. The meeting was a fitting celebration of another successful Rotary year, with plenty of laughter, appreciation, and optimism for the future.
Highlights of the morning included:
- Welcoming our newest members: Buzz Stapczynski, Shawn Williams, and Bob Decelle.

- Recognizing members whose outstanding service and commitment helped make this a remarkable year.
- Celebrating the club's recognition as one of Rotary District 7930's top clubs for membership growth.
- Approving updates to the club bylaws and the incoming slate of officers.
- Installing the 2026–2027 Board of Directors and officers.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Ann for her exceptional leadership, enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment throughout the past year. Her dedication strengthened our club and positioned us well for continued success.
The ceremonial passing of the gavel marked the beginning of a new chapter as Ken Feyl officially assumed the role of Club President. We look forward to another outstanding year under Ken's leadership as we continue living Rotary's motto of Service Above Self while making a positive impact in Andover and beyond.
Congratulations to Ann on a successful year, and best wishes to Ken and the 2026–2027 leadership team for a fantastic year ahead!
