It's hard to believe that I am nearing the end of my Rotary service as President. It has truly been an honor but more next week as there is still work to do.

There are volunteer shifts to fill, weekly meetings to attend, district installation events to attend to celebrate incoming President Ken, and happy dollars to share.

The last meeting of my year is an important one to attend as we will honor members, vote on bylaws and board seats to be filled, award Paul Harris fellows and induct three new members!

Look forward to seeing you all this week and next week!

Cheers to Rotary!

Supporting the Andover
Robotics Club

Several weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hearing from Tim Feng and Jeremiah Chou of the Andover Robotics Club. Their presentation was both informative and inspiring. Not only were they articulate and engaging speakers, but they also demonstrated the impressive robot their team designed and built.

Following their visit, several members inquired about how the Robotics Club is funded and how they might support the team's efforts. Tim and Jeremiah have provided this LINK and QR code below for donations, and we are pleased to share it with our members who would like to help support the outstanding work of these talented students and the continued success of the Andover Robotics Club.

Celebrating Two of Our Four 2026 Scholarship Recipients

One of the highlights of each year is meeting our scholarship recipients. This past Friday, we had the opportunity to recognize and meet two of the Rotary Club of Andover's 2026 scholarship recipients, Maggie O'Handley and Reid Prisby, along with their proud parents, Kevin O'Handley and Doreen Prisby.

Maggie, a graduate of Andover High School, will be attending Providence College, where she plans to major in Business. Reid will pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology.

The Rotary Club of Andover is honored to support these exceptional students as they continue their educational journeys. We congratulate Maggie and Reid on their achievements and wish them every success in the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

Many thanks to our scholarship committee, Paul Mercandetti, Sylvia Rainville and Peter Caruso for the  numerous hours you have devoted to reviewing applications and interviewing the amazing candidates.

We look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the years to come and to meeting the remaining recipients Ella Murphy and Ashley Goglia.

Bourbon After Five Brings Rotarians Together

Despite the summer heat and humidity prompting a change of plans, Andover Rotarians enjoyed a wonderful evening of fellowship at our recent "Bourbon After Five" social gathering.

The event moved indoors to the welcoming home of Kevin and Ellen Keller, where members had the opportunity to relax, connect, and strengthen the friendships that are such an important part of Rotary.

A sincere thank you to Kevin and Ellen for their gracious hospitality and to everyone who attended and helped make it an enjoyable evening. Gatherings like these remind us that Rotary is not only about service, but also about the meaningful relationships we build along the way.
