A Record-Breaking Morning of Fellowship and New Beginnings!
What an unforgettable start to the new year! Last Friday's breakfast meeting at the Lanam Club was nothing short of electric, with a record-breaking 42 attendees filling the room with energy, laughter, and Rotary spirit.
We welcomed over a half dozen guests—new faces eager to learn more about our club and the incredible work we do in Andover and beyond. The buzz was palpable from the moment breakfast began at 7:15 AM: conversations flowed, connections were made, and the sense of community was stronger than ever. It's moments like these that remind us why Rotary matters—bringing people together to serve, grow, and make a difference.
The highlight of the morning was inducting two outstanding new members into our Rotary family:

Sylvia Rainville, mother of Rotarian Extraordinaire Rich Rainville, has been a faithful volunteer with our club for over a year. Whether helping at Lazarus House soup kitchen shifts, supporting our events, or lending her warm presence and helping hands, Sylvia has embodied the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self." We're thrilled to officially welcome her as a member and look forward to many more shared projects!
Greg Cherry, Partner of Commonwealth Roofing & Siding, brings his expertise, community-minded approach, and entrepreneurial energy to the club. Greg's commitment to quality service and local impact aligns perfectly with Rotary values, and we're excited to see how he'll contribute to our initiatives in the months ahead.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the morning so special—our dedicated members, enthusiastic guests, and the Lanam Club staff for hosting us so graciously. This record turnout is a testament to the strength and growth of the Rotary Club of Andover as we continue "Doing Good in the World."
