Weekly Buzz ~ October 28, 2025 (Oct. 28, 2025)

We sure do have a lot going on in our Club. Thanks to all of you for making Rotary a priority. We are a strong club because of you.

The fundraising committee continues to meet under the leadership of Don Gottfried. We are making headway and have a lot of exciting things going on especially our upcoming music bingo evening on November 13. It’s going to be an epic night. We hope that all of you will join us!

This Friday we will welcome our newest member Michael Ricciardi to our club. Please welcome him and continue to invite people to come check us out.

The night before our music bingo event is the district wide Honoring Heroes event. We will be honoring Andover American Legion President Peter Witman. I hope that many of you will be able to join us. Also, I am pleased to report that I have the great honor of singing the national anthem that night as well.

Let’s keep the momentum and spirit of our club going!

I AM BLOWN AWAY by all of your kindness, willingness to jump in and help, and support. I was worried that we might not pull this off with so little notice, but it was amazing!! You all jumped in and rolled up your sleeves, and together we got it done. I am so thankful! Yesterday, amidst the chaos, at 2 different times, two elderly women came to see me at the Hub. Both scared for what is to come without SNAP, both crying, and grateful for our program. This is what it’s all about, helping our neighbors access food - something NO ONE should have to go without. At Village Food Hub, we are committed to do all we can to provide as many families food when they need it. I’m nervous about what the need will be after this week, but all of you jumping in to support our efforts this week gives me hope and more energy to continue to find more resources, and do my best. Thank you for having my back, and being the wonderful humans that you are.
