Peace Corps work in Swaziland

Heather Arvidson grew up in Andover and graduated from Andover High School in 2007. She earned a BA in Anthropology from Colby College in Maine in May 2011.  Heather first heard about the Peace Corps when on a mission trip in high school.  As her college career was winding down, she applied for the Peace Corps and left in June 2012. She worked at a small rural primary school where she kept busy doing a variety of different things, from teaching computer skills to starting a library. Heather will be discussing her work in Swaziland, and how the Peace Corps allows volunteers to give their time and energy to their communities.
